Not necessarily : Pain has to have a source. If the pain in the hip is still present, then you need to work with your doctor to figure out why. Maybe it's not just the hip joint, but could be coming from the lumbar spine or sacroiliac joint. A lot of times all these structures can overlap in where pain is felt.

No: There are times that we may have to live with pain but they are few. I suggest you get a second opinion. Try to understand the problem and what can be done to correct it. If the pain has lessened since the surgery, you may want to give it more time to heal.
