What could be causing a stitch type feeling in my lower left belly that radiates towards my hip and back? i have had an ultrasound and all that was found there was a 2cm fibroid. should i request an mri? it has been constant for over a year now?

This cannot be properly evaluated without a detailed history and exam, but we can be confident that the fibroid is not the problem. It is also reassuring that it apparently has not changed for over a year. Further evaluation might require an MRI but other tests could be more pertinent. Please consult your doctor.
