Ultrasound: It's best to have an ultrasound to confirm the placement and size of fibroids. Maybe call his office back and ask for an ultrasound so that you can understand fully your anatomy? If it woke you up, i'm guessing that it might be interfering with the quality of your life? If so, definitely ask to be seen again and evaluated. Best of luck.
