My 78 year old relative had a CT of the abdomen and pelvis. A unrelated finding was a report of fibroids on her uterus. This was a suprise as she had a hysterectomy 45 years ago. Pelvic ultrasound confirmed no uterus but identified some type of mass.
My CT of pelvis said i have a enlarged uterus which measures 9x22 and contains multiple calcifications. Although this most likely indicates and enlarged fibroid uterus, given the atypical appearance uterine carcinoma cannot be excluded. is this bad?
