A member asked:

42m, my psa level has been slowly rising. my father had prostate cancer. i know these levels are still considered within range, is this something to be concerned about? is it normal? 2018 = .4 2020 = .4 5/2021 = .5 11/2021 = .5 11/2022 = .86?

You have a family history, so it very important that you be checked at least once a year, and possible twice if your PCP advises you. Your PSA is still within normal limits, but should always be monitored.
