I just brushed my teeth with baking soda and noticed what looked like enamel damage on front of my top two teeth. can enamel damage occur this quickly. it looks like tiny holes where the damage occurred when i look at my teeth in the light?

Not from one use of baking soda. You may have cervical carious lesions. Let your dentist take a look.

Baking soda will not damage teeth. But you would be so much better off with a fluoridated toothpaste. Using a hard-bristled toothbrush can damage teeth and gums. But probably it's the start of enamel loss from bacteria, in other words a cavity. Please see Dentist immediately for evaluation (the longer you wait, the bigger the cavity), appropriate treatment, and effective oral hygiene procedures.
