I have idiopathic peripheral neuropathy with no cause found. my thyroid has tested slightly hypo ~12 years ago, and tested tsh 4.49 and tpex 35.5 recently. 3 drs do not think they are related and wont medicate. suggestions?

If three doctors who examined you are not able to provide a satisfactory answer, it would not be feasible to do that in this forum without the opportunity to take history, perform physical examination or conduct any tests. You may try to consult an endocrinologist. Wish you good health!

Peripheral neuropathy etiology can eventually be diagnosed over time, but it may be a frustrating process. Doubtful that your thyroid is the cause, and agree with your doctors. If you have signs of small fiber neuropathy involvement, a skin punch biopsy might help. See a neurologist affiliated with a local medical school and get a new opinion.
