I was prescribed azithromycin 250mg x6 for a throat infection;. it has been 72 hours since i finished the last dose on saturday night. (2 on first day 1 each day after till finished) i would like to have a drink tonight. would it be safe to do so?

It should not be a problem but alcohol is not allowed for a 20 year old person in the US. I do not know Canadian law about this. If it's legal to drink you should do it responsibly and do not drink and drive.

Azithromycin and alcohol (in moderation) are safe together. However, either one can cause stomach upset, with perhaps increased risk if taken together.
