Can someone interpret this for me? there is only one number for the cyst measurement. would this be the circumference of the cyst? previously identified large midline cystic pelvic mass with low-level internal echoes currently measures 17.2 cm?

Probably it is round in shape. If irregular or elongated, probably additional dimensions would have been stated.

Usually a cyst size is not measured by circumference so the described size of 17.2 cm is the cyst's diameter so it is quite big, almost 7 inches.
