How long does it take for swollen lymph nodes to go away from a throat infection? i just started taking amoxicillin today and wondering when the swelling will reduce and how long for symptoms to be gone?

It is variable and may take months for lymph nodes to return to normal size. Following the resolution of infection, You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor.
