A member asked:

I had a sclera buckle, ppv for a detached retina no macular involvement. my dr cleared me for a refraction i still have a gas in my eye. will this affect the accuracy of the refraction even though the gas is above my central vision?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

it could, I would wait until the bubble is gone. Also, you are sure to develop a cataract in that eye in the near future.
