Good evening doctors. i had a ekg last month which was within normal limits (separate doctor and examination) and some bloodwork. i am due now for a stress test--would i need or should i get another ekg? would any of the blood tests need repeating?

Yes, a resting ecg is needed as possible changes are monitored during exercise (if exercise stress test) or after injecting a drug. Specific blood test are not needed, unless there are abnormalities previously detected.

Good afternoon doctors. I had a cardiac EKG and cardiac echo which were both normal. I had a nuclear stress test last December which was also good. Occasionally I still get mild chest pains....what might be causing these? Should I be going to the ER?
