I read that hiv rapid generation 3 tests are conclusive in 3 months even 8 weeks after exposure, but on another forum i read someone had last exposure in february, got a negative test in may but in august he had a positive test with no new exposure?

Disregard such personal stories. The scientific data are clear, and a single report by someone who seems to be an exception is rarely valid and never useful.
