A member asked:

I have feelable submandibular, submental and cervical nodes. there 1/2 inch and have never changed, there mobile and i've had them for 2 years. i've been told that this is unlikely to be cancerous? why though?

Cancer very unlikely. You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!
