Would you trust a bone marrow biopsy results if it says severely hemodiluted and sub optimal for evaluation clinical correlation recommended and tell your patient their results are normal?

A sub optimal biopsy specimen is more valuable when abnormal finding is found then the biopsy result can be correlated with other clinical findings. However, if there is no abnormal finding in a sub optimal biopsy specimen we should not conclude normal pathology, regardless of other clinical findings.
