Is mds end stage when hgb is 5, platelets 7, after 2 years of treatment/transfusions? has been on chemo for quite awhile. labs worsening over past 5 weeks?

Yes, refractory myelodysplasia or MDS may present with extremely low counts in late stages, as affected patients become transfusion dependent. Would recommend having a clear discussion with your treating hematologist as to what is to expect at this point and options in the context of your quality of life.
