Hard nodule in neck. 2 mri's w/contrast an ultrasound, and labs performed. 2 ent mds say it's not cancer, it's a bifurcation of my carotid. can i trust this? it's painful and round in shape. non movable?

Be careful about pushing on carotid as it can affect your heart beat and BP. I would trust those who know you rather than those wo do not.

Neck ultrasound report shows a 1.1x1x1.1cm solid nodule with heterogeneous echotexture & microcalcifications. It also shows abnormal lymph nodes; one was 2.4x2.2x1.1cm without a fatty hilum and thickened irregular cortices. Most likely cancer?
Ultrasound shows 7 nodules; blood work is normal. history of thyroid cancer in family. Dr. Says wait a year and recheck. Good advice? Get 2nd opinion?
