Hard nickel sized lump under left ear. 2 months. Getting harder and harder. ENT got CT scan done. Said no abnormalities/no swollen lymph nodes. If I lift my head or open jaw wide it sometimes get "stuck" and squishes out from under jaw. Scary.
Can a cat scan detect if a swollen neck lymph node is cancerous bc my ENT dr said it can? I thought only a biopsy can. Thanks.
When should a lymph node be biopsied? Enlarged x6months pea sized. Clear labs, & head & neck CT. ENT says not large enough to warrenty a biopsy.
