Knee mri 8/29/22 says completely torn acl and medial tibial plateau fracture. saw doctor today who said it's not a fracture, just a bruise. should i ask for a second opinion before i start weightbaring?

In my experience during many years of practice, when there's a descrepancy between a radiologist's interpretation and a nonradiologist's interpretation, I have learned that the radiologist is usually correct. A second opinion from either another radiologist or another orthopedic specialist is worthwhile.
