I have high blood pressure from 1 month 150/100 i take met xl 25 mg at afternoon and propranolol 20 mg at night around 11 pm blood pressure from past 15 days is around 115/75 at night and 105/65 at day can i reduce the dose?

I ain't sure why you take 2 different types of beta blockers, one long acting and one short acting. Do you take propranolol @ 11 PM because your blood pressure is high? If yes, you do not need to take propranolol but dose of metoprolol succinate (XL) should be increased or change metoprolol succinate to metoprolol tartrate 25 mg, twice a day. Otherwise, you can stop propranolol if BP's OK @ 11 PM.

You should talk with the doctor who prescribes these medications. Beta blockers should not be stopped cold turkey but weaned under supervision.
