I had methotrexate for an ectopic pregnancy 6 weeks ago. 2 weeks ago my hcg was down to 96 and i had my period. the hcg level is now at 11 and i am getting positive ovulation tests. can you actually ovulate with hcg still in your system?

If your cycle returns, ovulation can occur, regardless of hCG level. In fact, hCG injection has been used for inducing ovulation.
