Unlikely: A negative home pregnancy test can be confirmed with a blood test. If is negative, you are not pregnant and cannot have an ectopic pregnancy. Check with your clinician regarding missed periods.

Probably not: An ectopic pregnancy would also produce hcg, and home pregnancy tests are very sensitive in the week after a missed period. It is unlikely that you have an ectopic pregnancy. Consider seeing your ob-gyn to evaluate the change in your cycle.

Basically no.: You could have had an ectopic pregnancy previously, but if your upt is negative it must have resolved spontaneously. See your gynecologist for this question just to be sure.
