A member asked:

Doctors have been stumped.. 56 yr old female. passing tiny black "stones" in urine. stone analysis by urologists has come back inconclusive everytime. says they don't think they are stones. on scan only a single stone shows up that hasn't moved in tw?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

The tiny black' stones' should be collected when in a fair number(5-10), felt for consistency and the sent for re-analysis. The nature (opaque, non-opaque, hardness and location) etc should be evaluated by a CT scan. Then it should be treated.
