I have a retro-aortic left renal vein, l flank pain and intermittent hematuria. i saw a vascular surgeon, but he has never done the surgery he explained to me, due to rarity of my situation. how can i find a vascular surgeon who is an expert in rlrv?

I would not look for a surgeon to alter a structural issue you have lived your life with until you have had a complete workup by a urologist. They may be both on the left side, but I cannot accept that that location is causing hematuria.
