2 months of persistent muscle twitching feet, calves. sometimes bicep and back or knees. emg normal. good strength.neuro says bfs. primary dr put me on 10mg of lexapro to and thinks this will treat these fasciculations. will this work?

While this is an off label use of Lexapro (it is normally used for anxiety and depression) there have been anecdotal reports of effectiveness in this condition. It may take several months to see a full effect, so don't give up before this. Make sure you have a follow up appointment 2 months from the date of medication start so that you can discuss the effectiveness of the treatment.
