yes: A blot clot can cause pain and swelling in the leg, but it would not cause pain in both legs unless it was in the inferior vena cava in the abdomen which would be very unusual. Clots below this would only affect one leg or the other. Consider being seen for other potential causes. Thank you.

Hard to say: Your symptoms are nonspecific. Restless-leg syndrome consists of: 1) discomfort, pain, tinglies etc in feet, legs, +/- arms at night or worse at night 2) urge to move the limbs, not involuntary but irresistible urge to move 3) inactivity brings it on 4) movement relieves the symptoms at least temporarily. If you have those symptoms, you have rls. It is treatable.
