Ruptured ovarian cysts do not necessarily lead to any problem much less to adhesions. Formation of adhesions is mostly from inflammation and previous abdominal surgery

Without knowing what type of ovarian cyst you had or were assumed to have, it is not really possible to offer you a reliable answer. Most simple, small follicular or serous cysts are unlikely to cause adhesions. A large, leaking or rupture endometrial cyst or a dermoid cyst may trigger "adhesion formation".
