Yes, lymphoma will be stage 3 if lymph node involvement on both sides of the diaphragm. Please note that prognosis for patients with non Hodgkin lymphoma is greatly affected by histopathology, but it is less influenced by clinical parameters such as age, extranodal disease, performance status, and stage (I/II versus III/IV).
