I can feel the head of epididymis on one side of the testicles but on the opposite side i can feel some skin attached to the testicle, it is not a lump or a bump ,does not hurt i can feel it one both the testicles, isn't it a part of the epididymis?

When feeling left testicle, the top of the epididymis (epididymis head) moves around as if it is not attached to the testicle. No pain unless Im touching/moving it and the epididymis feels more prominent than the other one. Paranoid or is it normal?
Can the top/head of the epididymis be felt? I was doing a self exam and felt a lump ontop of my 2 testicles and it felt like it covered the top completely. Is this the epididymis head?
