In US your will likely not remember anything as most are given short acting anesthetic and you will not feel anything Then they keep your until ready to go based on how you are feeling. Usually recommend someone drive you home. But I would ask the blokes down there. PS Spent a year in Melbourne in '82-3 researching salt in sheep at the "Florey"& Working at QE Hosp.

A flexible tube is gently inserted thru the urinary opening to examine the passageway (urethra) and the bladder. It is done after putting in a local anesthetic jelly in the passageway and should cause no pain and discomfort if well anesthetised and done gently
