Masterbation: I really don't know of many times at all when masterbation is not safe. Getting familiar with your own body's sexual response is very helpful (as well as enjoyable) as you learn to seek greater pleasure with love-making. Unless you are specifically told to avoid self-stimulaton....Go for it!
