A member asked:

My hscrp blood test was 0.03mg/dl. since i take statins, is it possible that the result was inaccurate and i have inflammation in my body?

Inflammation is a normal process that the body uses to resolve infection and regenerate tissues. What I suspect you are referring to is the chronic low grade inflammation associated with diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and obesity. There are many biomarkers that must be evaluated in addition to hsCRP to give a clear picture of metabolic health. I would discuss this more with your local doctor.
