Septal infarct is a heart attack and such infarcts sometimes cause no EKG abnormality. The study showing the infarct is to be believed, regardless of the EKG. If not in contact with your doctor(s) -- preferably including a cardiologist -- do so immediately. Good luck.

Most commonly, an old septal infarct is suggested by ekg and that means it did not happen the day you went to ER, if it ever did. Regardless, follow up in the first few days with your primary care doc and/ or cardiologist, if having one, will be needed so that findings can be clarified in context and a proper plan can be articulated.
