A member asked:

28 yr old female history of chest pressure all normal ekgs until this past 2 months showed bradycardia septal infarct concerning?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Repeat the EKG: Reading of a "septal infarction" is a very common computer misread due to subtle misplacement of the EKG leads. Have the EKG repeated and make sure that the leads are placed properly according to accepted standards (they are not just randomly placed!). Would also undergo a routine treadmill stress test. Good luck!!
