Had an abnormal ekg that said septal myocardial infarction probably old. my nuclear stress test showed 92% ejection fraction at rest and 80% post stress left ventricle, medium defect in the mid anterior apical wall minimally reversible. meaning??

Looks like you have pretty good function and a heart that will last a long time if you follow your docs treatment advice. The ejection fraction is the amount of the chambers volume that is pushed out successfully per beat & that was good.

It means you have coronary heart disease and you had a heart attack in the past but your heart pump is still good. The indication for coronary angiogram (cardiac or heart catheterization) is somewhat debatable with this lexiscan finding. In general, if the defect is fixed no intervention is indicated, only medical treatment but yours is not completely fixed, i.e. minimally reversible.
