My globulin is 1.4 with lab values at 1.5-4.5 it was 1.8 6 mths and 2.4 6 months prior. all other labs normal except the globulin and the ag ratio of 3.4 with a range of 1.2-2.2 i do have a history of fatty liver. could that be the cause?

Globulin level is usually high with chronic liver condition, not low as your case. You have had progressive hypoglobulinemia in the last 6 months so your case is classified as secondary hypoglobulinemia. You should be worked-up for the cause of low globulin level if there are symptoms such as fever, weight loss, recurrent infection, etc.
