I'm slim, no diabetes, but got cellulitis from a tiny nick on thigh. will this keep recurring? will i have to obsess over every shaving bump, bug bite and scratch? this has never happened before, and i have no "risk factors" for it, yet have it?

Has this been a recurrent problem with easily acquired bacterial infections like boils? Are you immunocompromised by virtue of taking certain medications? If not this could have been somewhat of a fluke. Going forward when you get nicked or scratched, clean with soap and water, pat dry and apply an antibacterial ointment.
