Fell on my ankle at dance class pain is excruciating can't move or touch it, unable to bear weight. extremely painful to remove sneaker major swelling. should i go to the hospital?

Yes, unless your doc or an urgent care are available. At a minimum you suffered an ankle sprain and a fracture will have to be ruled out

You definitely need an examination and an xray. Ankle swelling,with eventual black& blue discoloration, means severe sprain with torn ligaments likely until proven otherwise. I'm sure you'll be given crutches,told to ice & elevate ankle and get follow-up care with an orthopedic surgeon.
