My mother is end of life copd just qualified today for hospice and she is in hospital now her chest is big ( 90-100lbs ) 55 yr old her chest is purple no swelling of ankles but constant anxiety attacks + hospitalization everytime is her chest mottle?

Skin mottling affects typically feet and legs, her chest skin changes may have a different cause, based on actual pattern. Stay in touch with her current providers/hospice staff that can further clarify. Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.
