Ive had left ear ache for nearly two weeks finished penicillin 5days ago but did not improve it. ive also got a sore stiff neck which has eased in last few days but not away fully. anything i can do to relieve it? no fever or illness at min?

Isolated middle ear infections are typically caused by organisms resistant to penicillins. Amoxicillin with clavulanic acid or cefuroxime are good choices If your doctor isn't available go to an urgent care or emergency room. Bacterial infection cause permanent damage if allowed to fester. Stiff neck with ear infection can be associated with meningitis. Unlikely, but don't wait, see a doctor now.
