Hi doctors. i am a 62 year-old male. i feel a very intermittent not large lump near only my left nipple that is intermittently tender. if the diagnosis of male breast cancer were to be confirmed, do i lose my entire left breast? is it totally cut out?

Please get your lump evaluated in person. It may or may not be a tumor. It may be benign. The doctor will determine if you require a biopsy. There are many types of breast cancer and the treatment would be determined by the type of tumor, its grade and stage and whether it is hormone receptor positive or has molecular alterations amenable to current therapies.
