I was hurt about 3 months ago at work. torn and freyed miniscus and small tear of pcl i was told. about the last 2 weeks i am having more swelling on the top of my foot and ankle causing a lot of pain! doctor says its normal like no big deal?

Those symptoms are not normal. I'd be concerned about vein damage from prior or chronic phlebitis or presence of inflammatory joint disease involving the foot and/or ankle. See another physician or orthopedic surgeon for accurate diagnosis. Appropriate testing should be done.
