A member asked:

Dx with migraine, saw eye dr. pain began in right eye/upward gaze only & right temple. moderate pain phase/attack gone, but still mild varying pain when looking up, seems worse in the evening. is this postdrome, strain, sinus, trigeminal nerve?

Such symptoms can follow a.migraine episode and go on for 2 or 3 days. If eye discomfort persists any longer, I advise an examination by your ophthalmologist.

Since you are diagnosed with migraine, you could prevent future headaches by using a variety of newer CGRP preparations. A neurologist should absolutely get involved, if not done so far. Your symptoms seem consistent with your diagnosis, but a more comprehensive evaluation can come from a virtual consult (www.connect@healthtap.com)
