A member asked:

After a general screening colonoscopy, the gastroenterologist sent my sessile colon tumor biopsy to the lab and the report was completed. when i saw him a month later again to have it removed, would he have said if it was cancerous? maybe yes or no?

You should ask specifically, and you may ask to see the completed report and ask for an explanation if you read it and do not fully understand it.

You are entitled to look at all the lab results. You should enroll in a program, "Patient Portal" and you will be able to access all of your medical records. The polyp should have been removed completely at the first procedure.
