Biopsy: The diagnostic gold standard for colon disease is the biopsy. I suggest getting a written pathology report of the biopsy taken.

I had colonoscopy on Monday findings reveal normal mucosa in whole colon but they did a surveillance biopsy what does that mean?
Calprotectin >1000. Colonoscopy couldnt make it past splenic flexure (bend too tight). Everything clear until this point, normal mucosa. Is cancer of proximal colon the cause of my calprotectin ? Worried its been missed, awaiting repeat colonoscopy?
