My grandad has a giant lump on his arm its the size of half a tennis ball and its on his the top of his forearm he said he has had it for 12 month with no pain should i force him down the doctors to get it looked at as he doesn't want to?

If the lump is soft with a well demarcated border, it is likely a lipoma (a collection of fat tissue inside a capsule). In general, a n asymptomatic lump without change after a year is usually benign. Just tell him to show that to his doctor in the next office visit or see a doctor right away if he notes of any change.
