The medication is classified as a category C drug, which is what they give when they do not have adequate human studies to know its totally safe (Category A) but its not known to cause fetal problems. The best thing for baby is to have a mom that takes care of herself & remains as healthy as possible. I would not think any further about this and use it sparingly.

Would strongly urge you, at this point, to fully avoid any barbiturate containing products for headaches, both during and after pregnancy as this approach is notorious for leading to chronic daily headaches. Would urge you find neurological consultation for future migraine management. Unfortunately, most migraine drugs are contraindicated in pregnancy.
