I have mild levoscoliosis but with no pain until this past few days. the pain is on my lower back and hips especially when i wake up or sit down. could this be due to the levoscoliosis or something else? im seeing an orthopedic surgeon soon. thanks?

The vast majority of people with scoliosis have a minor degree and never have related symptoms in their lifetime. You did not state the amount, which matters. Most back pain as described is muscular in nature. At your age scoliosis does not change much unless there is an underlying medical condition. It is good to check it out.
