I have recently been to see a orthopedic surgeon for a shoulder pain, and was diagnosed with calcium build up in my right shoulder. i also have a stiff left hip which the dr did not check and i get pins & needles in my arms and hands at night ?

Several problems: Based on what you conveyed the shoulder sounds like calcific tendinitis, arthritis or bursitis of hip, of concern is the pins &needles in arms and hands. You need to check for some type of cervical nephropathy/carpel tunnel or even subclavian steel syndrome. Please see a neurologist in addition to another orthopedist .
