A member asked:

I had a sars-cov-2 semi-quant igg ab test done with labcorp, the reference range is neg less than 13.0 and my results are 48.6 au/ml units. what does this mean? i know i tested positive for antibodies but is that a good number for protection?

Antibody levels do not always correlate with protection level. The test indicates that you have produced antibodies against SARS CoV2. A booster is recommended. A flu vaccination is indicated.

If you did not get Covid vaccination , get it, if you did, get a booster dose. The test done does not measure neutralizing antibodies and is not good at predicting protection. Get Flu vaccine as well.
